Seven members of the Data Semantics Lab – Reihaneh Amini, David Carral, Michelle Cheatham, Pascal Hitzler, Amit Joshi, Adila Krisnadhi, Raghava Mutharaju – attended ISWC 2015 this year, which took place last week in Bethlehem, PA.

And we kept rather busy there. The activities we were involved in were diverse:

• Reihaneh Amini and Raghava Mutharaju attended the mentoring lunch of the doctoral consortium.
• Michelle Cheatham was one of this year’s sponsorships chairs for the conference.
• Michelle Cheatham co-organized the Ontology Matching workshop.
• Michelle Cheatham attended the organizer’s lunch for next year’s ISWC2016, as she will serve as metadata chair.
• Pascal Hitzler delivered the keynote for the Diversity++ workshop.
• Pascal Hitzler was one of the mentors at the mentoring lunch of the doctoral consortium
• Pascal Hitzler co-organized an editorial board meeting for the Semantic Web journal.
• Pascal Hitzler gave a lightning talk on the future of Semantic Web reasoning.
• Pascal Hitzler and Adila Krisnadhi co-organized the Workshop on Ontology and Semantic Web Patterns.
• Raghava Mutharaju co-organized the Diversity++ workshop.
• Raghava Mutharaju gave a lightning talk on monetary incentives for reviewers.
