Bio:
Greetings,
I am a third-year Ph.D. Candidate at DaSeLab, working on my dissertation research project that revolves around the fascinating realm of Explainable AI. My research project focuses on explaining the activation pattern of hidden neurons of neural networks in a human-interpretable manner by using knowledge graphs as background knowledge for images. arXiv paper at: https://arxiv.org/abs/2308.03999.
Recently, I had the privilege of presenting my work at KGC 2023, hosted by Cornell Tech in New York City, where I addressed the audience as a speaker. Additionally, I showcased my research through a poster presentation at US2TS 2022, hosted by Michigan State University.
I completed the Deep Learning Specialization on Coursera, which underscores my commitment to continuous learning and expertise enhancement. Certificate link: https://coursera.org/share/29ff2482b2007a508027376a8488b3e1.
I am also working in the scope of data management for the project KnowWhereGraph.
Before starting Ph.D., I got MS Degree in Computer Science from Kansas State University at DaseLab in 2021. For my master's degree, I worked on a project called Modular Ontology Modeling for Food Supply Chains - developed an extension to CoModIDE - a plugin for the popular ontology modeling platform Protégé, that incorporates alignment of modular ontology with foundational upper-level ontologies. The demo presentation and results got accepted at KGSWC 2021 and ISWC 2020.
Before starting my master's, I worked at Nucleus Software for 1.5 years as a software developer, where I worked on developing functionalities for the banking loan software.
