The lab is proud to participate in the Data Science and Security Cluster (DSSC) at the Department of Computer Science and Engineering at Wright State University. 

Members of the DSSC received a number of awards this spring:

• Kyle Brown (WaCS Lab) was awarded an ORISE Fellowship for collaborative work with AFRL 
• Aaron Eberhardt (DaSe Lab) receives a WSU Graduate Council Scholarship for his graduate studies - as only one out of eight students selected university-wide.
• Ademola Ikusan (Cybersecurity Lab) wins the Top MS-Cybersecurity Student Award.
• Matthew Piekenbrock's (WaCS Lab) project proposal got accepted for the Google Summer of Code 2017.
• Brad Schneider (Data Science for Healthcare Lab) wins the Top MS-CS Student Award. 
• Cogan Shimizu (DaSe Lab) receives a Dayton Area Graduate Studies Institute (DAGSI) scholarship for his PhD studies.
• Michelle Cheatham (DaSe Lab) receives the Excellence in Teaching Award for Faculty by the College of Engineering and Computer Science.
• Derek Doran (WaCS Lab) receives the WSU President's Award for Faculty Excellence: Early Career Achievement Award.
